Well, that was another dry week and according to Peter Daughtrey, that was the case in this week last year. We both agreed that the gardens are still looking good and don't currently seem to be suffering but we would still like some rain, please.
This next week is of course what would have been The Chelsea Flower Show. You may have noticed that the BBC and the. RHS are putting on a number of programmes instead of the real thing which will show case some past show gardens and some exhibitors may be filming in their nurseries, so it should be interesting,
The roses are coming out now and it won't be long before the peonies open(oddly I always thought peonies preceded the roses) so gardens are looking lovely. Look out next week for an update from Southdown House, pictures from Graham and Jane's garden, more from Skinners Cottage and hopefully much more,
With best wishes
