20201013 Kniphofia Rooperi and Ginger

I bought 3 Kniphofia Rooperi from Cotswold Garden Plants earlier in the year having seen them recommended, I think, on Gardener's World.

This is two of the plants, the third having been planted elsewhere and also showing a lot of flower to come but slightly behind.

They really are stunning, shown here with euphorbia and stipa gigantea in the background.   If you want a kniphofia for this late season, I would definitely recommend rooperi.

By contrast but equally impressive is the ginger which Sarah F-R bought on the visit to the Gingerman last year.  It has just come into flower and is giving off a wonderful scent.

Best Wishes

Rosemary
